Planning for a Comfortable Stay
Most conference participants wear business clothes for day and evening events. Dress for the gala Benefactor Awards Banquet is evening business or cocktail attire. At the time of the conference, Washington, DC can be warm, cool, or cold and may include rain and/or snow. Travelers will want to check the extended forecast for the area before packing. Campus Impact Awards
The 2010 Campus Impact Awards recognizes the efforts of individuals or teams that have made a significant positive impact on a CRD member community college and/or the students it serves in one of four categories: grants professional, private fundraising professional, non-development professional, and volunteer.
Lifetime Service, Congressional, & Special Recognition Awards
CRD annually awards individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the organization, have assisted significantly in the passage of legislation that benefits higher education, or have assisted CRD in its efforts in some other way. The CRD Annual Natinal Conference is the highest profile event in the realm of community college fundraising. CRD’s 44th Annual Conference will be held November 1-6, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. More than 600 dedicated professionals will be in DC in search of the latest information, products and services available to fundraisers for community, junior and technical colleges in the U.S. and throughout North America.
