As resource development professionals we are consistently tasked with producing larger returns with increasingly smaller investments of staff and resources. How can we embrace and overcome this challenge? Answer: The Multiplier Effect.

CRD, its exhibitors and presenters will introduce participants to the tools necessary to return to campus and "multiply" their college's investment, increase their existing returns, and influence the ever-changing community college resource development landscape.

This year, in keeping with the theme of The Multiplier Effect, we are looking for topics that will fall into the following focus areas:

Innovation | Engagement | Advocacy

Please keep these focus areas in mind as you prepare your presentation. Strong presentations will answer one or more of the questions below.

  1. How can we do things more cost effectively?
  2. How can we improve our current results?
  3. How can we engage new audiences?
  4. How can we take our existing audience and turn them into evangelists for our community college?
  5. How can we leverage our successes to build for the future?
  6. How do we engage our colleges in resource development?
  7. What are current trends telling us about the future of resource development at community colleges?

The audiences to be addressed through our conference tracks are:

◊ Alumni Development Professionals (those working with or responsible for alumni relations/associations)

◊ Private Donor or Foundation Management Professionals (those working with or responsible for private fundraising, Foundation boards, and donor solicitations)

◊ Public Grant or Grant Management Professionals (those working with or responsible for public/federal grants and grants management)

◊ Presidents (those defined as the CEO of their campus/district/system)

◊ Integrated Audience (topic addresses two or more of listed audiences above)

Here is a list of suggested topics you might want to look at for consideration as you plan your presentation.
