We all hear about colleges that have superstar alumni--those who volunteer, donate and work to encourage others to give. Have you ever wanted to sit down and ask one of these alums what made them want to give back to their alma mater? Now is your chance to do just that.
Have you ever wondered what you could do to encourage alums in your community to look back on their college years when determining the beneficiary of a legacy gift? Now is your chance to find out.
The closing session features community college alumni who you want to hear from. These alums dedicate their time and utilize their connections to assist with resource development at the college from which they graduated. They commit their own resources to support the mission of the college and fund programs vital to student success. They view the community college as the necessary link in their community to create life-long opportunities of personal growth and pathways to career success. Join the closing panel over lunch to hear the strategies they employ to support their colleges, and the strategies you can employ to engage alumni like them in your community. Our moderator is an expert in community college alumni development who knows the questions you want answered. Come with your own questions and find out more about how you can engage superstar alumni at your own college. Click here to meet the panelists and other presenters.

"One of the best decisions I ever made was joining CRD. When I began my career as the development officer for Panola College in 2001, I had no experience in fundraising. I had a lot of questions, and when I needed help the leadership and members of this organization were more than happy to provide it. Their willingness to take time to help someone they had never met still amazes me to this day, and that is why I am proud to be a member of the CRD."
