The Council for Resource Development has myriad resources to serve your Advancement efforts both in donor and alumni development and private fundraising; and in grant development, management and evaluation.

Members have access to sample documents generously shared by their peers. In addition, members enjoy the benefit of a very active CRD listserv, where questions and comments are answered by colleagues all over the country.

Professional Development for Presidents

Presidents Fundraising Academy: Held each summer, the Academy is designed exclusively for community college CEOs by community college CEO’s to encourage their peers to be successful fundraisers.  Every topic covered is one identified by these presidents as essential. Executive Institute for Fundraising Leadership: Held annually at CRD Annual Conference. Bring your team (Foundation volunteers, chief development officer and yourself) to develop a set of strategies, adapted to your institution, to increase your capacity, effectiveness and efficiency. CRD Annual Conference: Held annually in early November in Washington, DC. CRD has created a Presidents Track at their annual national conference to address Presidents’ roles in today’s environment. Search the website under Programs for the Annual Conference.

CRD Dispatch: Feature articles in each August issue are by presidents from around the country.

CRD Presidents Listserv: Do you have a development question only another president can answer? We’ve created a listserv by and for Presidents only. One of CRD’s highest rated benefits by our members.
